Exploring the hips and pelvic floor
In person at the Bhakti Yoga Movement Center AND virtual
Sunday, April 12th
1:00-5:00pm Pacific
Often thought of as the root - the hips and pelvic floor are so central that they have an influence over the flexibility, tension and movement throughout the rest of the body.
In this 4 hour class, we will get an in-depth and experiential understanding of the functional anatomy of the hips and pelvis and we will embody fascial relationships of the layers of the pelvic floor. Learn how to apply that anatomical awareness to daily life, common yoga poses and your breathing.
Coming up next at the BYMC: Exploring the Feet
October 4th: 3:00-5:00pm PST

“She is a treasure as a person
& a teacher.”
“As a physician, I have seen a great deal of benefit in her methods, which truly emphasize working with what one has, with no sense of a " one size fits all" approach. She tailors the yoga to my body and has enabled me to do my best.”
